We have a problem!!! Some unknown fish have washed up on the shore at Wrightsville Beach near the Fort Fisher Aquarium. Oceanographers are stunned to see such strange fish especially since they thought they had cataloged all the fish in the area. They need your help classifying the sea life into their natural ecosystem. You will be swimming with the sea life that you identify.
You will need to make sure that you are visiting the different ocean zones, so it important to know some information about what you should expect to see as you traverse the ocean. As you swim deeper, understand that there will be a change in temperature and pressure. BE CAREFUL! In each zone, you will have different missions to complete. You will need to work with your partner to complete a Sea Journal so that the next set of oceanographers know what to expect and to use as they go. Review the vocabulary for this webquest here. All the vocabulary words from this week in addition to the words on the list need to be in the sea journal. Below is a Flipbook version of the Hydrosphere Webquest. |
Wherever you see this icon, you know that it will link you back the Sea Journal Page. The Sea Journal Page will allow you to link to the next part of the webquest as you progress through each zone. Click the button below to start the webquest.
